Here at Cliff Lane Primary School, we cultivate an ethos of passion and pride in everything we do and we are committed to raising the standards of teaching and learning within the school.

All aspects of our pupils’ development are constantly monitored. This includes their confidence, motivation, self-esteem, involvement, well-being, their interests and learning styles and the progress they make in mastering skills and learning.
Other assessments take place during the year and include tasks and tests to monitor different areas of learning. We discuss with the children their learning objectives and set targets for next steps in learning. Teachers then share these with parents at formal reviews, open evenings and in the end of term reports.
